April Card Chain Challenge

As I mentioned earlier, this month was the 1st time I took part in Deborah's Card Chain Challenge and it was so exciting receiving a card from a country far from mine!!

A few days ago I received word that Nancy finally received my card and I was so relieved because snail mail can sometimes be painstakingly s-l-o-w ...

This is what I sent Nancy, not knowing how much the ocean meant to her and I'm so glad it brought a smile!!

I watercoloured the background before I heat embossed the sentiment which was made with a really old rubber stamp lent to me for a weekend.

My husband had a day off work yesterday so I didn't do a thing in my craft room or even get on the computer for that matter!  This morning I noted a couple of new challenges that I want to try  . . . so, while the laundry is drying, you know where I'll be!!
