As a newbie, I find that attempting some of the weekly challenges encourage me to try new layouts, colour combinations and techniques that I might not have chosen while creating and learning on my own.
For this card, I used the colour combo suggestion from Play Date Cafe Challenge #24
SUPPLES - Bazzill card stock; Hero Arts sentiment; an old flower punch; DS by Daisy D's Sweet Baby Jane Collection; cream satin ribbon from Wal-Mart.
Browsing the wonderful creations entered in these 2 challenges is a literal feast for the eyes as they are all gorgeous!!!

Very pretty! I did a combo of the two also and I didn't even know you weren't supposed to... I'm a total newbie to both of the challenges, so hopefully they'll forgive me! Woops! =)

This is very pretty, Dallas. I love it. The pearls finish it off nicely. JAI has just changed their entry rules to make them exclusive to JAI, so whoever submitted, must not have read the new rule.
