A few weeks ago I used Memento's Sky Blue ink for the birds and the house but it just was not the colour I had expected it to be so I was a little disappointed.
Because I needed a card this evening for a friend who recently moved into a new home, I decided to see what I could do to rescue this too pale sentiment!
I decided on a 5" square card, using Martha Stewart's lace doily scalloped edge punch for the various shades of card stock as well as MS butterfly punches.
I love pearls almost as much as I love butterflies so added a large one to the middle of the house and some tiny ones to each butterfly!
I'm entering this into this week's Flutterby Wednesday challenge which is open ~ as long as it contains a butterfly, angel or fairy as well as CAS -tastic Challenge which is to Bling It Up!!

What a sweet card, the row of borders is amazing, I must try that technique!
The pearls and the borders add so much to the card... looks lovely and lacy.
Ladies,
Your comment are an encouragement to me and I appreciate the time each of you have taken to leave them :o)
Beautiful card & looks like you fixed the pale sentiment but it looked fine to me ... Those extra punched borders really popped it up tho.
Hugs, Janie
Thanks Janie -- the Memento Sky Blue was just much paler than I expected when I bought it -- have to use it though :o)
