OLW13 - Christmas in July

Christmas in July!?  It's been too hot here to even think that far ahead but that's what Susan has chosen for her  One Layer Wednesday Challenge this week.

I was going to do something super simple with just a handful of snowflakes in red and green but I made a mistake and had to improvise--

For a second card, I used a few snowflakes and my little snowman and did the whole thing in blue ~ when all was said and done, I just had to add that tiny sapphire crystal dot to the center of the snowflake that the snowman appears to be looking at ~ that makes it almost an OLC :o)

There are some gorgeous cards at Susan's blog and every one of them makes me feel a whole lot cooler!!
