Two of my very favourite colours when creating cards are teal blue and shades of purple ~ they just seem to go well together!
I used a dark purple card stock but you can hardly tell either in the photo or in person :o( Because of that, I put a white liner on the inside and placed one of the watercoloured butterflies there :o)
The butterfly on the front has folded wings and perches atop an adhesive dot giving it some added dimension but still keeping it flat enough to send by snail mail ... I'm entering it into this week's FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY where the challenge is to use your favourite colour along with butterflies, fairies or angles!
