Flowers and Scalloped Lace

After making this wedding card in the bride's favourite shades of purples and mauves, I decided to use the same layout and try some totally different colours ---

I had partial sheets of red and white checks as well as a small piece of black, ivory and deep gray and decided to make both birthday cards.  These I'm adding to Michelle's Make It Monday #7

Next on the agenda is some Thank You cards -- I planned on sending a few samples of various styles to my daughter for her personal use and discovered, much to my surprise, that I had very few that actually used the words Thank You as the sentiment -- ended up sending ones with other sentiments that lent themselves to having a thank you message or words written inside :o)
