Chiyogami Butterflies

I'd heard about Japanese Chiyogami paper, loved its colours and its soft, delicate feel and bought some last week when I was in the city for a Dr's appointment.

Here are some pix of the 3D butterfly art I created yesterday afternoon while the sun was shining into my dining area. 

 

I couldn't resist taking my photos right then in order to capture the wonderful shadows created by the 3D butterflies :o)
