Card Patterns -- Sketch 61

I just loved sketch #61 at Card Patterns this week and had fun making the following cards once I realized that my first thought about adding a 3D fabric flower would NOT snail mail very well --

I upcycled the top of an old note card for the scalloped circle in this card and used the scraps of 2 shades of green Bazzill.

I had the small watercolour stamped circle left from a set I made quite awhile ago and built this card around some Karen Foster paper I bought from the clearance shelf at my very small local stamp shop.

I left the front VOID of SENTIMENT for now so that it could be used for any occasion. I do this frequently when I'm making cards so I can add the needed sentiment as the occasion rises and I usually leave a spot that will fit the bill.

Definitely a sketch/layout that I will often use because it can be easily DRESSED UP or DOWN :o)

What sweet cards! I try to save the cards I added thick embellishments to for hand-delivery only. That way I know they'll arrive safely!

Thanks for playing with us at Card Patterns this week.

Thanks!

That's what I'm going to do once I make a couple of those kind ... otherwise they just don't work because most of my family is far away and needs *snail mail* cards :o)
