OLW10 - Patriotic Cards

Happy Canada Day!!

I'm glad that Susan is back with her One Layer Wednesday Challenge.

Creating a patriotic card to represent Canada stumped me at first but I finally found this maple leaf trio stamp that I'd picked up at Michaels' last year in the Dollar bin and decided to heat embossed the inks.

I can hardly believe the shininess of the embossing actually shows up under the light from my stove top fan unit -- YAY!

Photographing it wouldn't have been so challenging if I had done it much earlier this afternoon when the sun was still shining :o)

Susan,

Thanks for the compliment but I didn't do that ~ it's the way the stamp came :o)
