Easy Scallop Circle Punch Flowers - Updated

I know what I'm going to try later today ~ flowers made from my 2" scalloped circle punch following this tutorial video which I came across at Inspirational Techniques and Tutorials :o)

Much later in the afternoon, I took the time to try this technique because I wanted to make a belated birthday card for a friend.

You'll notice that the sentiment is on a separate piece of matching Bazzill card stock --- I finished the entire card BEFORE I stamped the sentiment and my ink must be getting a bit dry for the colour I needed because it was TOO LIGHT all over and completely FADED all along the tops of all the letters!

You'd think I'd learn NOT to do this again, wouldn't you ~ I should remember to do the sentiment FIRST, just in case -- then if necessary, to work around the *correction* I need to make :o)

I should have thought of it but find I always need to see something done first to get good ideas :o)

Let me know when you make some and I'll check them out!

Dallas, I love this card - so simple and charming. The colours are lovely. One can never go wrong with peaches and pearly white stuff! :)

Love,

Monica
